Jeff Steck
Jeff has over 30 years of experience in the areas of process and productivity improvements, waste reduction, planning and inventory management, transportation, and network optimization at companies of varying sizes in food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, industrial goods, electronics, medical devices, internet services, and professional services industries.
Prior to VertiSync, Jeff was the Vice President of Production at Classified Ventures, a joint venture between large media outlets to collectively manage online assets (including cars.com and apartments.com). Before CV, Jeff was a Consultant with Cambridge Technology Partners and New York Consulting Partners, management consulting firms focused on rapid system deployment and operational performance improvement, respectively. Prior to earning his MBA, he worked as a Production Supervisor and Manufacturing Engineer for Westinghouse.
Jeff received his MBA in Finance from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
Kane Nakahara
Kane has over 40 years of experience in operational improvement, strategic planning, and new business development at companies of varying sizes in over-the-counter (OTC) drugs, consumer goods, electronics, medical device, advanced materials, beverage, restaurant, industrial controls, and professional services industries. Clients include Prestige Consumer Healthcare, DuPont, Starbucks, The PGA of America, Avery Dennison, Tweezerman, private equity-owned portfolio companies, and a variety of start-ups. He brings outside consultant insight and internal company management perspectives.
Kane is currently working as a solo consultant, but has worked with other consulting firms, including Vertisync, which he co-founded and at New York Consulting Partners, a boutique consulting firm founded by a former McKinsey & Co partner.
Prior to VertiSync, Kane held line management positions at Yorkshire Restaurants and First Alert. At Yorkshire Restaurants, he was an owner/manager, responsible for expansion and operation of a start-up Japanese quick service concept. At First Alert, a consumer safety products leader, he was New Product Development Manager, responsible for assessing new products and process viability, rolling out major products, managing cross-functional teams, and developing strategic operational initiatives.
Mr. Nakahara received his MBA in Finance and International Business from Columbia Business School and BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University. He is currently serving as Co-President of the Columbia Business School Alumni Club of Philadelphia.
Gil Yee
Gil has over 30 years of Operations Improvement and Project Management experience. He has worked in many different industries such as consumer products, medical devices, distribution, and luxury goods.
Prior to VertiSync, Gil was the Director of Business Process and Corporate Strategy at Movado Group where he led global projects to redesign key business processes and improve business performance, including a redesign of product development process and global strategic planning process.Before Movado, Gil was the Strategic Projects Manager at Arrow Electronics and an Associate at New York Consulting Partners.
Gil received his Bachelors in Finance and Information Systems from Indiana Business School.
Gary Badrick
Gary has over 35 years of comprehensive experience in leading operations and strategic improvement efforts on behalf of Fortune 1000 companies. Gary's breadth of experience includes leading engagements that rapidly identify improvements and capture opportunities, as well as implementing supply chain strategy. He has particular expertise in low capital throughput enhancement, waste reduction, process and product simplification, supply chain optimization, operations design/segmentation, service and delivery performance turnaround, and pipeline planning. These initiatives have delivered hundreds of millions of dollars in tangible value creation and deep, lasting change.
Prior to joining VertiSync, Gary spent over 6 years in consulting as a senior engineer for Ford, Bacon, & Davis and HR International -- process engineering firms serving primarily the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. His projects ranged in scope from process studies and upgrades/facility expansions to new, Greenfield facilities. His experience also includes expertise in analyzing and purchasing complex capital equipment and systems.
Gary holds both an MBA in Finance and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University.
